Silent Unity Prayer Service
Tuesdays at 11:00 am in the Prayer Chapel.
Prayer is the foundation of the Unity movement and of First
Unity Church.
All are welcome to join Rev. Donald & Judith
Crooks for a half hour experience of prayer similar
to what is held daily at our Silent Unity World Headquarters
at Unity Village.
Call our church at 901-753-1463, or Silent
Unity at 816-246-5400 to request prayers for self or loved
ones. We also invite you to call the church to
activate our Prayer Chain.

What is Prayer?
Prayer is any
mind/heart
activity that is
God-directed. Every time we practice the presence of God, we are
participating in some form of prayer. Deeply focused prayer "is
the most highly accelerated mind action known," and brings us
into the conscious awareness of the spirit of God within us.

Prayer for Protection
The
light of God surrounds me;
The love of God enfolds me;
The power of God protects me;
The presence of God watches over me.
Wherever I
am, God is!
And all is well.
