The Power of Unity and Prayer

Several weeks ago Minnie Burton shared with us her journey of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and greatest of all: Healing. We would like to share that here with you as a testament to the healing power of prayer.

I have been given a new life, and I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer in October 2016. My marker was 870 at that time. The Doctor said if my body could stand the treatment, he could cure the cancer. due to my Unity beliefs and principles, I met the challenge with a complete change of mind, body, and spirit. That belief foundation along with the blessing of prayer support allowed my body to be healed with the surrender to Perfect Spirit.

We began Chemotherapy and approximately two weeks later, in January 2017, the doctor performed surgery but was unable to get all the cancer. So, we continued with Chemo. Two weeks ago (mid June), when the doctor assessed a new marker it was zero!

The power of prayer. I am so blessed! And again, I thank Reverend Chris, all my friends, my prayer group, and especially my daughter, Sandy. She and God are always there for my every need.
