What to expect at one of our services
When you arrive at UCPC, the best way we know to describe the experience we want you to have comes from the lyrics of one of our favorite songs “Holy Ground”: As I walked through the door, I sensed a presence, and I knew this was the place where love abides. Whether you’re joining us for our Sunday service in the main church building, or your children are joining our Sunday School program across the parking lot in Isabel House (our Youth Department building), it is our intention that your experience be one of love and acceptance. Our Sunday services begin at 10:30 and generally last for an hour. During that time you will experience the gifts of our music team and enjoy an uplifting, inspirational message. We are occasionally asked what our ‘dress code’ is, and to that we answer “Come as you are most comfortable!” For some that means jeans and t-shirts, for others Sunday service is a time to dress up. The diversity of our congregation extends to our fashion sense, so you’ll see a little bit of everything. Including beautiful headwraps, hats, and an occasional kilt.
