Combining Community, Creativity, and Compassion
JOIN
Hundreds of people from all over Shelby County come together to fight local hunger at the annual Memphis Empty Bowls Project fundraising event.

CHOOSE
Artisans, educators, and others around the Memphis area donate handcrafted and hand painted bowls to fight hunger. Choose a beautiful bowl to take home as a reminder of the bowls that go empty in the Memphis area, as well as the inspiring work being done in our community to fight hunger.

ENJOY
Guests are invited to a delicious, simple dinner of soup (donated by local restaurants) and bread and desserts (donated by Church Health) while listening to live music.

SHOP
Shop the art market. A portion of the proceeds from your purchase from the vendors, who are talented  local artists, will  go toward the Memphis Empty Bowls' mission.

    "My faith demands
that I do whatever I can,
    wherever I am,
    whenever I can,
for as long as I can
    with whatever I have
to try to make a difference."
    Jimmy Carter

I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells.
I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light, and of peace.
When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me ...
