June Focus

During the month of June the focus for our Youth Department's Sunday School lessons is Prayer and Meditation.
The children have made an altar for the class and have been bringing special things in to put on the prayer altar. They use the Christ Candle every Sunday as a reminder of the Christ Presence that dwells in each of us. The teachers love to see the excitement in their eyes as their awareness of the very special connection we have with God through prayer and meditation grows. MaryAnn Schubert, Youth Department Director, says "I can see the Christ in them when they are talking about our lessons!"
