UCPC Scarf Style Masks
Thanks to the generosity of one of our members, we have UCPC logo printed "neck gaiter" style masks available for purchase in our Gift Shop beginning this Sunday.
These gaiters are priced at one for $10 or two for $15.
This is a great way to follow the current safety protocols AND promote our church!
If you are interested in purchasing one (or more) and having them sent to you, please contact the office to arrange for payment, which will include covering the cost of postage (approximately $2 or $3 per package). Mailings will be sent once a week on Saturdays.
2019 Winter Wonderland
Our Winter Wonderland Holiday Cabaret was, as promised, a wondrous, marvelous good time with scrumptious food, amazing music, joyous laughter, and dancing that left everyone feeling musically, vibrantly alive, well nourished, and deeply loved. Here are just a few snapshots of the evening.
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to bring this event to fruition and to all who joined us to make it a very special holiday celebration.
See you next year!

3rd Annual Real Men Cook
Sunday, October 7, 2018 was our 3rd Annual Real Men Cook Cooking Contest and FUNdraiser. This year the RMC Crew decided unanimously chose for the proceeds of their event to go to COTA in Honor of Team Sam M. The event was a huge success and we want to thank the Planning Committee, Chefs and Junior Chefs, and our congregation for their incredible support of this event! We've got our appetites whetted for next year!
Love Is All That Matters Here
On Sunday, October 21st we were privileged to present the World Premiere of the music video for "Love Is All That Matters Here" with words by Saylor Lynn, music by Angelo Rapan, and videography by Locke Borwick. Now it is our honor and pleasure to share that video here with you on our website!
A Note from The Keyboard
Happy New Year!!!
Dear friends, 2017 was a great year for our church with the arrival of Rev. Chris. The music team was excited as well to be able to support his vision and direction. Last week my personal vision for the music department took form with the arrival of my own Grand Piano that found a new home in our Sanctuary. This is just a start in bringing, attracting and creating a more diverse, professional platform to enhance our Music Ministries. I am truly Blessed to have the opportunity to collaborate with the incredible Julianne and Richard Tutko, Beverly and Howard Vance and the dynamic choir ensemble.
Thank you for your commitment and continuous support
On Saturday, September 16, 2017 UCPC was honored to host the Interfaith Labyrinth Peace Walk with Sri Sri Sri Viswayogi Viswamjee Maharaj, Swamiji. This walk was part of the Campaign Nonviolence Week of Action activities which received coverage by local media: WMC TV5 and The Commercial Appeal.
If you were unable to attend the Peace Walk here at our labyrinth, The Viswayogi Foundation has graciously provided a video of the walk so you can enjoy the experience.
The Power of Unity and Prayer
Several weeks ago Minnie Burton shared with us her journey of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and greatest of all: Healing. We would like to share that here with you as a testament to the healing power of prayer.
I have been given a new life, and I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer in October 2016. My marker was 870 at that time. The Doctor said if my body could stand the treatment, he could cure the cancer. due to my Unity beliefs and principles, I met the challenge with a complete change of mind, body, and spirit. That belief foundation along with the blessing of prayer support allowed my body to be healed with the surrender to Perfect Spirit.
We began Chemotherapy and approximately two weeks later, in January 2017, the doctor performed surgery but was unable to get all the cancer. So, we continued with Chemo. Two weeks ago (mid June), when the doctor assessed a new marker it was zero!
The power of prayer. I am so blessed! And again, I thank Reverend Chris, all my friends, my prayer group, and especially my daughter, Sandy. She and God are always there for my every need.
Sweet Sue's Headwrap Demonstration
On Sunday, May 7th our own "Sweet Sue" Susan Rivers demonstrated various ways of creating headwrap 'halos' to adorn ourselves. The Ladies - and a few men - had a wonderful time learning all the various creative ways scarves can be used to cover up a bad hair day, or accentuate an outfit.
Sunday, May 14th will be "Headwrap Sunday" when our service will be enhanced by the beauty of these creations!
Thank you Susan for sharing your passion and talent with us all!
