 As many of you know, every year we take part in a very special community service project we call "Operation Christmas Bears". Beginning in November we collect stuffed animals, bring them into the sanctuary, infuse them with our love, and then the Sunday before Christmas deliver them to Purdue Center of Hope to give to the children (and mothers) staying there due to the impact of domestic violence in their lives. For obvious reasons, we aren't going to be able to do that this year. Our own Susan "Sweet Sue" Rivers came up with an idea to fill this void! She reached out to the director of Purdue Center and received a list of most needed items which we have used to create an Amazon Wish List where anyone can purchase items to be shipped direct to Purdue Center. We will leave this Wish List open permanently so that whenever you are able to send something, it will be available. To access the list, click the Amazon Wish List button below.
