 UCPC Community Yard Sale Benefiting COTA in Honor of Team Sam M Saturday, March 16th at Ace Hardware (Germantown Parkway & Dexter Road) We are seeking people to assist Saylor Lynn and Auset Marshall with this in one (or more) of the positions required. Below is a description of what we're looking for. If you are available, please email Saylor at [email protected] or fill out one of the Community Yard Sale volunteer forms available on the Information Table in the sanctuary or in your bulletin. We need to know by Sunday, March 3rd what kind of manpower we are going to have so that we can move forward with planning this event.
Donors: People willing to give gently used items for the yard sale. We are not accepting any large furniture items. It is preferred that donated items be brought to Ace Hardware on the day of the sale and not later than 7am. However, if you are unable to be there that day, we will be accepting donated items at the church on Sunday, March 10th. Due to limited storage space, and other activities taking place here, we are not able to receive donated items prior to that date. Core Volunteers - Saturday, March 16th: Be at the church 6am, load any items donated as well as supplies (tables, racks, etc.), transport and unload on site. Organizers - Sunday, March 10th: Help sort and price items after service. Transporters - Saturday, March 16th at 6am: People who have vans or trucks to move items from the church. Cashiers - Saturday, March 16th (arrive by 7:30am): Two people to run the point of sale table. 8am-1pm Sale Crew (several shifts) - Saturday, March 16th: People available to work the sale, wear COTA shirts and help bag items and conduct customer interaction. Clean up Crew - Saturday, March 16th: Responsible for cleaning up the site after sale, leaving site as we found it. |
