In her message on Sunday, June 26th Rev. Judith Crooks challenged us as a community, and our Board as our leadership, to come together and have what she called a "rally" to look at what kind of social events, classes, workshops, and other activities we can make manifest to Make The Difference here in our Unity Community and from there out into our greater MidSouth Community. Sunday, July 31st that rally will be taking place. We've changed up the theme and it's going to be Christmas In July as we come together to look in our Spiritual Stockings and see what gifts we have to share!   Be sure to bring a few extra bucks and join us after service
Sunday, July 24th @ 11:30am as we host a Bake Sale benefiting Guardian Angel Pet Rescue! Guardian Angel Pet Rescue (GAPR), founded in March 2001, is a NO-KILL, 501(c)3 non-profit, community service organization staffed entirely by volunteers. GAPR relies solely on the public’s donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees. Over 4000 PETS SAVED SO FAR! Mission: GAPR is dedicated to rescuing animals from helpless situations, and offers refuge, medical care, nourishment, and a second chance for life to companion animals that are in immediate peril of euthanasia shelters in the greater Memphis area. All rescued animals are lovingly cared for in private foster homes until they are placed in responsible forever homes to be a life long friend. GAPR promotes responsible pet ownership through education, and has a mandatory spay/neuter policy for all animals.
