 On December 22nd, immediately following Potluck and our Christmas Party, all are invited to help deliver the Bears, sing Christmas carols with the children, then tell our story and watch the delight of the children as they find their "New Friends."
What we give is love and assurance to children in a time of uncertainty in their young lives. What we get, as we reach out from our church into our community, is to make wonderful memories that will stay with us forever." Our goal is to deliver 200 bears. We will be loading the bears at 1:30 then departing for downtown to the Salvation Army Women & Children's Shelter. Drive time, building Bear Mountain, and time with the children takes approximately 2 hours total. Printed map and directions will be available. Comments are closed.
