 Before we jump into the excitement of New Year's Eve and Day, I invite you to take a brief respite with me. Before we become immersed in the rush of 2014, let us take a moment to just breathe and be still. Sunday I will be sharing a sermon entitled "A Gentle Breath". We will honor a little piece of peace in the space betwixt what has been and what is to come. As we moved through Advent in preparation for Christmas, let us now utilize this Sunday to prepare our hearts for 2014. There will be many marvelous experiences and adventures that nourish us and challenge us. There will be new things, and there will be familiar things. In all things there will be you, there will be me, and there will certainly be Spirit!!
One last word of encouragement from scripture - "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--that good, pleasing and perfect will." Blessings, Lawrence Comments are closed.
